Donations to STS go towards: - care in shelter including food, deworming, vaccines, flea and tick prevention - Veterinarian care both routine and urgent - temporary placement pending rescue - plan for spay/neuter - facilitating their release to a rescue group - transport to our own rescue or to over 100 pre-approved rescue groups The difference between STS and most other rescue groups is that we operate a major transport program moving rural Ohio Shelter animals from counties such as Scioto, Lawrence, Licking, Perry and several others to approved rescues in other areas. We pride ourselves on the fact that we transport 50 to 100+ animals to safe havens each week. In 2020 we saved 3,408 lives through our transport program!
